I've bought one from holden several years back. $8 each from memory.
I'll find you a part number if you like.

A fastener shop should have them, unless they are specific length that is not in the common sizes.

    I should have measured one.
They are a fine thread, and have an unthreaded shank.
I wouldn't use any bolt in them. I would hate to sheer 6 bolts off because they couldn't handle the job and then I'm stranded.

You would grab rated bolts not just mild steel.

I had to replace one of mine and I bought it from a fastener shop ( Nut & Bolts).

Some manufacturers supply the new bolts with their shafts
Check with whoever you're buying the shafts from to find out if they come with new bolts or not

Question begs...Why are they stripped? To me if a bolt is stripped, the thread the bolt goes through would be stripped also...So I'd be checking that too, before going to much further

Because they’re bloody tight are fitted with red loctite. They’re a grade 12.9 cap head bolt. Fine thread - at a guess m10x1.0.

Most common cause is dirt in the head of the fastener. This means the 8mm hex can’t bottom out in the cap head and strips the head out when force is applied.

I always clean them out well and use an impact socket and impact gun and have no issues. For the damaged ones, I tap a torx socket into the head of the bolt and then use the impact gun.

I surpose the way I should have asked the question is, what part is stripped? The head of the bolt, or the thread of the bolt....

I assumed the OP meant the hex key in the head was stripped, as he hasn't removed them yet and is preparing for replacement so can remove by force.

I saw it as some threads were stripped, rather than the heads....Anyways, it has been confirmed wart was stuffed, so mystery solved :)
