cylinder number 2 location

ok quick question guys where on the engine is cylinder number 2 for the alloytec 3.6l v6? i cant figure out if its at the front of the engine on the drivers side or passenger side

Hm, couldn’t find a picture of a north/south rear drive engine setup but found an east/west engine setup below.

Since engine rotation remains the same, and cylinder 1 & 2 are at the front of the vehicle ina north/south configuration, it should now be obvious where cylinder 2 lives

This is from the VZ Manual, but I imagine GM didn't change cylinder locations for the VE / VF.

Holden really thought outside the box on this one. Most car makers would have just spun the engine around.

Also, the odd numbered bank is set slightly more forward than the even. Hard to tell with engine covers on sometimes, but ripping covers off is quicker than searching for manuals.
