Ay guys, I have picked up some stock side skirts for my vt which are already painted my color to replace my ones.

And I am thinking of spraying the back and front bumper/skirt myself, I have been told to use touch up paint and primer. Just wondering anything else I should do before I start? My color is heron white so its not hard to match

    Cheers

The not hard to match bit is not as easy as you think. The factory spraying equipment is pretty hard to duplicate and the colour will probably turn out a bit whiter than the original. Also due to your original paint being a bit older to the pigment changes. Use the lightest possible primer or it will turn out darker.

white is one of the hardest colours to match, dont think its easy as there is so many vairables it aint funny

make sure they are clean before you prime them, no dirt or anything use prepsol to white them down before priming and do 3 or so coats not one heavy coat.
