yeh I have a tub liner, and its pretty good nick, the previous owner has a rubber lining mat put over the top...
at least u know the HONDA love...lol
I havnt looked properly at exhaust, thanks for the heads up...
I originally had a full x-force system on the dc2 and I was pretty happy, that's y I leaned there...

but I will speak with Not_An_Abba_Fan & go from there...

I know this aint a build thread, but i may as well keep this upto date...
i got rid of my HBD hard lid for pretty good money and bought myself a soft cover

Then i cam across these very cheap pacemaker extractos 4-1 with 3inch outlet...

They will receive a good clean and a coat of black exhaust temp paint...
Then i will arrange cats and cat bak before install

I was also lucky enuf to come across a very nice set of jap wheels...
SSR type C's
18x9.5 +35

I will continue to update as i go...

not a lot has happened...

but I trial fitted the wheels on the ute while I gave it a service...

then I got some tyres (235/40/18) and stickered up the wheels...

just waiting on coilovers and I will have these installed hopefully by New Years...

I also came across a really cheap x-force twin 2.5inch Stainless system I had to snap up...
very happy with the sound...

so my coilovers arrived yesterday...

wat a perfect day...

I fitted the fronts and made slight adjustments to fit wheels...
I think I need to raise it a lil, but until I do the rears...
it will do

comments welcome

p.s. has any1 used k-shock coilovers in a VY???
I dnt seem to b able to work out a proper mounting for the brake lines...

Hey mate the ute looks good. With the ksport coilovers i have them in my vp sedan and the bracket for the brake line is not attatched to the strut. Needs to be welded on for some reason.
the civic would be a fun car to drive.

so I need to find the perfect spot for the brake line bracket, mark it, take them out and get some1 to weld it???

yeh the civic would b fun, but I donated the gear box to my lil bro to get his car tuned and on the road...
im thinking of getting either ppg or albins gear set for the civic...

Yeah sounds like a mongrel job to put the bracket on. Other then that iv been really happy with the coilovers.

I think i'll stick with cable ties...lol

and I took his, which needs a new input shaft bearing and a LSD to b installed...
but hey, wat are big brothers for...
