Dash Light on when Headlights are off

Hey guys.

My VY was in a small front end smash and not long after my dash lights started playing up on me.
When my headlights are turned off my dash lights are on, And when my headlights are on my dash lights turn off.
This obviously makes driving at night a problem, My dimmer does not work either.

Does anyone know what could be causing the problem and/or how to fix it?

Yowser! You have a serious earth leak there somewhere mate. My first though would be to peek right through front end looking for any crushed/pinched cables. Might also help to wriggle the headlight cables (with headlights on) and see if you get a flicker from the headlights.

Does high beam operate ok?
