Hi All,

Hoping someone has had this issue before that may be able to assist.

Drove my VR at night for the first time in about 8 months over the weekend and discovered that the dash illumination isn't working.

All interior lights work but nothing on the dash does (cluster, hazards switch, trip computer etc)

I've checked all fuses and they are fine and I've also tested the bulbs to confirm they aren't blown. I can't find any pinched wiring or earth issues.

Headlights, taillights and brakes lights still work fine.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Check fuse F16 Instrument Illumination 5 Amp, in the Fuse/Relay panel underneath the RHS of the steering wheel.

Thanks mate, I've aready gone over the fuses a few times now, all looking good.

It's definately something deeper, I can build engines with my eyes closed but when it comes to wiring nope nope nope nope.

It was fairly common back in the day that the green flexible circuit the back of the cluster would rattle/shake and wear through the copper tracks.

If it's not a simple fuse/relay, then gentle on the dash surround and have a look
