I have seen a few utes around that are column shift autos....

The thing is they don't have a console, just a hump to house the radio and heater bits.

I have rung every wrecker in the area, I have also rung holden, no love at all.

Has anyone seen such a beast and would knopw if it would be an arduous task fitting it to my car so I can rid myself of the console.......

    Cheers

Mums VS wagon is a column shift/ bench seat car. I really would love to swap the dash, seats, column etc. into my VR sedan.

    Bench seat/column shift is sexy.

Anyone tried this? is the swap hard at all?

Not done it my self - but the Holden is modular in design with 3 levels at production. So a calais bit will fit into a exec.... so all the components should swap over. May end up a big job but if you have a complete car with it all set up & bit in it.

    Do it Do it.

    I'm with you - A bench seat:).

    I dunno about the benchy....
I just wanna get rid of my console,
    Anyone have any ideas?
I need to keep heater controls and the such, I'm not bothered with the radio too much, the engine sounds better anyway.
