It's a big job so you might want to invest in a Gregory's manual because it has pictures to show you where all the screws are.

2 screws either side of cigarette lighter and a couple clips hold the section that goes around ur gear knob or shifter.
You gotta give it abit of lovin to get it off as the power window stitch box will catch on the rest of the console.
Next the annoying flip open box thing, 2 screw on either side...
The stock headunit needs to come out if u still have that...

Now the main bit.
Open fuse panel, screws either side of the steering column, 2 above the dash gauges and i think thats it...

Couple clips hold it in so some gentle lovin n it could pop... :p

Now ur dash cherry has been popped!
Haha, gentle lovin n pop...

I thought he meant the whole dash not just the surround panel. That's why I said it was a big job.

Hey, guys. I'm in the proccess of painting my dash on my 99vt (just the bits around the speedos and down around the gear nob) and have found i need to take out the stocko cd player but can't seem to find the screws (or watever) holding it in place. Its proven to be a huge bitch. Can anyone whose removed the stoko unit before tell us how to do it exactly?? Much appriciated!
