Or get grandma to crochet oneYou know what would look nice in the world of pensioner dash mats? A black suede one. Something trimmed up nice instead of the carpet finish they have.
Ok I tried this yesterday and it soaked in where it was faded and looked very blotchy and I was a bit sceptical. I sprayed some more on and let it soak in over night . This morning it looked really good and had a even coverage but could see a very slight bit of fading so repeated tonight . Will post up some pics tomorrow of the result . Thanks again for the tip looks like your right on the money .That is the product. It’s nothing like silicone based sprays. It’s the ducks nuts in my books and it’s used by some high profile detailers too.
Really soak it. Some run off will happen so mop up the runs with a cloth but let it soak in. You’ll see some gone after 5mins, so soak again.
By morning it will have absorbed in.
Thanks mate I'll keep that in mind . I am quite happy with the outcome . Thanks again to Fu Manchu for the tipEnjoy your cleaner blacker looking dash
Don’t be too surprised if the inside of the windscreen gets a little foggy as the sun boils away some of the chemicals you’ve put into the plastic. Simply clean the windscreen and reapply 303 on the dash.
It’s a small price to pay for a nice looking dash which won’t crack under our Aussie sun
