UPDATE: The much anticipated pictures have arrived!

Thank you all for being patient while I try and get these pictures uploaded. I will show you how I got the car and in the next couple of days, will show you what I have done to the car so far.

I think one of the pictures is a bit more recent as it has the new stato seats put in.

Unless you found a cheap and good condition VQ V6 that thing is just waiting for a trip to the cube factory.
Sorry mate, don't mean to pay you out for your car, but that thing needs a **** load of work to be done to it.

i hope you got the vin checked to make sure it wasnt stolen before purchasing.

id almost be inclined to purchase a cheap clean v6 vq, and swap the motor over.

Should scrub up OK - a visit to the cleaning supply shop to buy disinfectant is a must.

3 weeks cleaning and bolting bits back together and it will look like a really tired VQ

I have seen worse - but not by much. - The before and after photos will win prizes.
