Whats happening to the old fuel system? what did it include? looks great.

Old fuel system was a standard intank pump with a 2.5LTR surge tank and a single inline Bosch 044. Trouble was it was running out of fuel (E85) at about 4800rpm.

Old system will be for sale, less the intank as I stuffed with it once it was out!!

I used the Ultimates in mine when I was running the VT brake set up for a while. I found that they were pretty good on the short stuff but once you got onto QR, 4 to 5 laps at full pace (national circuit) and the approach to turn 6 would get a little scary.

What would you sell it for?
What psi were you running it at?

Well the rebuild has started.
After 5 years of track work, a million runs on the dyno and many interstate trips, its time for a freshen up!

All the parts have been ordered, so now its time to play the waiting game.

For those that maybe interested in the shopping list, here it is.

JE forged and ceramic coated Pistons
Cometic head gaskets 3.84 bore and .052inch
Alloy LIM gaskets
4340 H-Beam Connecting Rods
Oil pump kit with machined cover
Valve seals
Valve springs PAC #150
Valve locks
Modified Titanium Retainers
Timing chain, JWIS chain (already have gears)
Hydraulic Roller Lifters By Competition Cams
Stainless over size valves
Gap less piston ring set
ACL race series bearings

If things go well, the M90 should be water cooled by the time its all ready to go back together.

Not watercooled!!!
Why watercooled?!?

I currently run a water to air intercooler (Yella Terra Tower of Terra) I recently updated the water reservoir to a six liter jobbie.
I am going to have a water jacket or skin welded to the outside case of the M90 and I am going to pump water through it.
One of the biggest issues with the M90 is heat generation, hence their nick name Heaton M90.
This will hopefully keep the M90 running within a few degrees of the ambient air temperature, so in turn this hopefully will knock a bit more heat out of the air stream.
If I can reduce the heat of the air a little before going into the intercooler, hopefully I should see a larger drop on the cool side of the cooler.
This will allow me to get a little more timing in to it and hopefully make some gains on torque and power.
