    Okay,
I need help making a decision.. I want to get 3 different things.
    Pacemaker Extractors.
    Proper Lowering Kit.
    Tinted Windows.

They are all around the same price range, Im really willing on getting the extractors..But Tinting would be helpful during the summer while I have no air con.
Lastly My Shocks/ struts and springs has had its day and its almost like driving a tank.

If you could choose what one you would get? and why?
    Cheers

I'd get my air con fixed first.

suspention cos itll make the ride alot smoother and look better...
tint second because it doesnt change the feel or ride of the car. but also looks good.

extractors last cos i think suspention is important and also tint to block the sun can be usefull :)

    Ah yeah, True Enough :p
Ill have a think about.. atm Im thinking Tint, Extractors, then Susp.

Well before the bearings become noisey and replaced the belt for a shorter one it didnt activate, it has no gas.. It could cost any where from 50 to 1000... to repair.
    Prefer getting tinted windows..

Tinted windows will probably only keep your car 4 or 5 degrees cooler than without tinted windows. Air con will keep you at a fresh 18 degrees on those horrible 45 degree days ;)

If your suspension needs replacing then do it first. Always fix things before modifying arguably pointless things. You can't build a nice car on a dodgy base.

If your air-con just needs to be re-gassed then do it as well because that's pretty cheap. Then I'd do tint, then extractors last, unless there's other things you need to fix.

I know of very few mechanics who will just regas an AC system, seeming how it's illegal.
The gas only disappears when there's a leak, and you need to find that before you do anything.

Weird, I never knew that. I'd only just got my red P's when I took my car to the local Holden dealership because the air-con wasn't cold and made a weird noise. They said it had to be regassed and that's all that was on the invoice. They put a dye in it and checked it a week later but there was no leaks...haven't had a problem since and it works great.

Any ideas what went on there lol? (also sorry for being a tiny bit of topic)

    Hmph.. Decisions.. Decisions..
Might get my Air Con Tested out.. The compressor still needs new bearings..how much is it to get replaced? :\

Well GunnaBeSumthing..I do believe a decent tint around here is around 300-400.... Not quite the same as prices for Extractors and susp.. but close :\

Your air con gas runs out faster if you don't use it. I never turn my air con off even in winter.

That's because the seals dry out as the oil in the refrigerant doesn't circulate and lubricate them, and then it leaks.
Usually they charge it up with a dye mixed into the gas and check for leaks that way, but usually the leaks disappear after the seals are oiled up again.
