Defected in SA - Get Regd in QLD?

    Hey people.
    I was just wondering if anyone knows wether i can get my car registered in QLD even though its defected in SA? I may have found some work there but dont want to leave my car in SA.

    Just moved to Perth and im 90% sure its the same in QLD, if you are trying to register a vehicle from interstate it is required to have a vehicle inspection, even my 2005 model does not escape the pit. I am about to register mine in WA from SA and it needs a full vehicle inspection. Id check up on QLD modifications and see if they are the same as SAs. If they are the SS aint passing inspection. Hope that helps a little.

    QLD rules are **** weak compared to SA as far as I know, I bet you'll be fine.

    Yea cheers! My cuz who lives up there sais you only need a roadworthy from some random mechanic to get a pass. If thats true ill be cheerin with 52k a year. Im not goin to settle if i cant take my car with me. It means too much to me. Some people might understand
