I have recently bought a vy crewman ss , the front windows seem to have a 5 second delay when I go to wind them down, if I keep tapping the switch they go down immediately but only in small increments, if I hold the switch there is a 5 second delay, if I lift my finger off the switch it's another 5 seconds before they will wind down. It's both front windows, the rear windows are fine , seems a bit strange that both front windows are the same . I have changed the main switch in the console but no different. Any idea's,? cheers

As per the other thread, the BCM might need a look. Perhaps the relays are playing up. They can be replaced by someone with the skills for small soldering circuit boards.

There are businesses that specialise in it.

Ensure the basics first.
Make sure the motors plugs in the doors are clean and free of corrosion on the pins.

There can be faults in the door harness where it goes into the body from the door. Remove the rubber boots and unplug the harnesses make sure the plugs are clean and dry. Check for corrosion on the pins.

Check for continuity of each wire in the door harness and then check it with a second person moving it/bending it near the body plug.

If they need replacing, they are the same as any sedan or wagon.
