delco tuning.

I have an injected stroker and am looking for somebody totune it. Runing delco computer currently.
I believe it has been tuned before but has had mods since then.

Hi there. if you are in melbourne i had my vr ss 355 stroker running come manifold tuned in Lilydale at EFI Dynamics using the original Delco computer

Yes im in melb but got quoted $1000 plus just to get it on the dyno at efi dynamics

Thats not bad really shops here in sydney charge $1400+ and use the old outadated kalmaker software.

Yeah you have to remeber these guys have overheads and dyno time cost usually $100 per hour.
Dynos are a good tuning tool but its also good to tune driving on the road to get the driveabilty.
Only reason i do tunes cheaper is i dont have a workshop and overheads to pay for.
Once you have a shop you have to cover costs and make a reasonable profit.
I think $1400 is over board but anything under $1000 with dyno time is very reasonable providing
its a good tune.
Only way to really tune is live in real time while the engines running and use live data logging.
