some pics of the carnage and the new engine nearly ready to go in on the weekend.got a few new parts ported heads from vnracer34g with stainless valves brand new ls7 lifters from zzp and a double row chain new cam same grind as last time but without the dents and the twist lol new cam bearings new mains and bigends just gotta fit the rockers and front cover and sump and drop it in

 

He's still alive and well still porting still racing lol

Quick touch up to the old 2 bar tune and she's ready to race just in case we don't finish the new 3 bar tune by next weekend

304 turbo I had on the dyno last week

 

Vb engine is tested she's a winner new pb of 10.33@130.9mph on 5 psi less boost .calculator says it's 50hp more than what it was at 23psi .we ran out of injectors but once we get some more fuel in it and turn it back up to 23 it should have at least 100hp more than it used to have before the ported heads damn good gains

 

Here's a 12psi run launched at 12psi ran the whole pass on 12 after the boost controller decided to turn off lol went 11.17 would normally take 17psi to do that

Just got off the dyno vb gained 50rwhp leaning her out and adding 2 degrees of timing gained heaps. 2 more degrees out came the head gasket on 1 cylinder mid run lol but got the 50hp we wanted 370rwkw

 

Yep smash in another set of stockers 30 bucks and a couple of hours all fixed and yeah already took 2 degrees back out lol.still drove on the trailer so wasn' bad lol
Few exhaust manifold tweaks over winter see if it cant go a bit further yet

 

In other news the starlets just come out of hibernation time to work on my own car for a change lol

Vb just went 9.94 @ 132.51 new engine is loving the tune touch up and the 28" slicks are hooking hard
