Ah yeah could be. The Z bar bushes have been done and are nolathene but everything else is stock. It's going into the suspension place monday to get sussed out so see what they say.

Well after being told it's definitely the sway bar link pin bushes got them done and.......still just as bad. Going back tomorrow to sus it out more. Brakes have just about had it. One mountain run and they couldn't handle it now down a hill the whole front end shudders. When I get some spare coin I will just get some slotted rotors and decent pads. Inlet manifold still on the to do list. Alarm has been going off at random now after I washed it on the weekend. Think it's the bonnet sensor. Adjusted it so see how it goes.

I found replacing all bushings, joints, rods, etc was a sure fire way to a tight, silent, straight braking front end.

Intake manifold gasket swap alone is probably going to be about $400. I could probably do it myself but serious cause of CBFitis. I want to get one of those vehicle enhancement kits with all the bushes one day.

True, perspective though, you can get all the bits for around $500 (Nolathane) incl hubs and tie rods and it's a days (fairly easy) work. Then you're golden for at least 100k.

I didn't realise how much safer and smoother my car could be until I drove it out of the alignment shop, I'll never procrastinate front end work again, although that means I'm doing the VP on the weekend, sigh.

What baby money. Went as fast as it came in and the wagon is still neglected. Waiting on the company car then it can sit at my mechanics for a couple of days so they can go right over it.
