Well picked up a fully sick growler radiator shroud off eBay for 50 bucks. Even came with clips. Even fits over the growler as well. Will need to trim it a bit for the radiator and power steering cap but apart from that should work nicely. Plus +50hp with the stickers. Bonnet still closes with no issues but have removed it because it's sitting on the radiator cap and will get Dem (she's better on the dremel then me) to trim it when it stops raining.

That was with free postage. As opposed to 95 + 25 postage on eBay. Don't even want to know what the wreckers around here would charge.

Was looking at another car but that would mean 3 lots of rego and insurance. Contemplating LS swap in the wagon to keep it interesting with the money I was going to use to buy another car..... Wonder how hard it could be.

Shroud fitted. Looks so much better then stupid snorkel hole. Dems awesome cutting skills was all it needed to clear the radiator cap and power steering bottle.

that's a definite improvement. It's on the list of jobs to do on my missus VX.

Oh yeah. Replaced the radiator as well. There was coolant leaks all along the sides. Not bad for a 2-3 year old radiator.... Lets hope this is the end of chasing lost coolant.

I was looking at dropping an LS1 in mine, but with the money I was budgeting ($5000 for a wreck and any other parts, $3000 for labour) I just spent an extra grand and got my VUSS.
