That's lucky it was only the clamp maybe it was wraith trying to blow your engine so you can rebuild it with a blower
Very nice ride. I like that the vs clubby is a unisex vehicle. I'm another dorito hater. Whilst equilateral they are not symmetrical and all my favorite things in life demand symmetry.
If I had that kind of cash laying around it sure as hell wouldn't be going on the clubby. That'd be almost a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS........so much drool
You have awesome taste in cars...... For a girl! I love the clubby, I'm with you on the doritos, but with the other on the cvfake wheels, maybe vs senator rims! Oh, YOU NEED GARAGE! Taking donations of cash, card or full frontal nudity.
Lol thanks I think. Garage will be awesome but zero chance of getting the grandparents (our landlords) to build one and not keen on paying for it ourselves since they tend to um and ahh about selling the property one day.
7-800k and no garage WTF?? I know you say it's all land value but, 7-800k and no garage WTF?? If I spent that kinda cash around my area I would surely get: a 4bay garage, next to the swimming pool, next to the billiards room, underneath the 2nd story, etc, etc. 7-800k and no garage WTF??
Is a large block with some beach views, beach is a few hundred meters in 2 directions and another within a km. Like I said location. Very overpriced imo but was good investment for them. They only paid a bit over 50k back in the early 80s.
Very good investment! Where was I in the 80's to buy some beach land??? Oh yer, my old man scratched me every morning when he woke up! But still, no garage! Wtf! Surely your parents would sell it cheap to you! Taking donations of cash, card or full frontal nudity.
So your ungaraged vehicles are exposed to the salty sea air no matter which way the wind is blowing? yeah great rusty location you've got there LOL. Just Kidding - it sounds Lovely. Got a pic of the view?
Yeah demonica is right, Sunshine Coast house prizes are crazy! Sounds like Demonica is in Kings beach side Kinng
Close Kinng but not quite. Yes Deuce its a rust nightmare. I haven't kept a car long enough yet to have any of them rust though (had the clubby for 2 years which is a record). We keep all our tools inside the house for protection etc etc.
I grew up in a town where the closer you got to the beach, the cheaper the houses were. It was plain to see the damage done by the salt air. Truth be told; the worst of it is that which is in direct sight lines of the sea, but the back of the same building because it faces away from the sea, can be in far better condition.
Is the opposite here. Closer you are the more the land is worth. We're mostly protected thanks to double story houses both sides then units in front. So we're mostly protected.
general thoughts on ur future...a cheap 355 is a different drive to a 5 litre. It has both cubes and stroke to help the bottom end so feels ok even when overcammed...but you may find it runs out of rpm anyway as it will have trouble moving air...(but no trouble using fuel without any benefit)...so overcamming is double trouble. With a smaller cam in a stroker you benefit from the bottom shove and still get midrange before the curtain closes up top. And the curtain will close from 4500 onwards (setup dependent) with bananas. never driven a 4502 anything....and its been said I talk garbage so take this as you will.
The one thing I want to do is keep the bananas. Especially with the new Qld laws I want it as stock looking as possible. Obviously they are restrictive but there are options to make it less so. If you have a look in the V8 mod section there is a thread on cams. There is a bit there about the 4502. Its generally only a very mild cam but it has a good range. A 355 would be nice one day along with a full rebuild. I'm always open to ideas and advice so any input is welcome
