During a recent band storm a gumtree limb when through the garage roof and smashed into the Commodores roof causing 3 big dents and creasing the roof in the middle.
It also put a few small dents in the boot lid and scratched the rear left side quarter area and the insurance quote is $3,800.
Its now booked in for the 24th of April and they said I'll without the vehicle for 2 weeks so Its a good thing I have a bicycle.
Now I'm wondering do they need to remove the entire roof section or do they remove the roof lining and actually panel beat and heat shrink it back into shape.

That's a bit of bad luck, two roofs damaged.

    Show some picks.

I got quotes over 5 grand to fix some dents in my roof and body. Eventually found a paintless dent removal guy who got them all out for a fraction of that, 100% fixed.

Long as the paint isnt chipped, they can work miracles these days.

For 3,8 I would assume theyre knocking the panel into shape, maybe a bit of filler and a respray. Doing a cut would cost way more.
