Another great new show. We really are spoilt for choice at the moment.
Set in Washington DC it kicks off with the President's State of the Union. The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (played by Kiefer Sutherland) is the "designated survivor" and is watching on TV from an undisclosed location. When the Capitol Building blows up killing pretty much every politician in America, he inherits the Presidency........
If you've read Tom Clancy's book Executive Orders set in the Jack Ryan universe it's similar to that but without the spy twist (so far).
