That spaghetti wiring is making my eye twitch.

If it was British Racing Green, you by like Royalty driving around in that. It's coming along great!

Compliment sandwich?

As you saw on page1, the tub was already blue and I don't mind it so the rest of the truck will be painted to match.
Spaghetti dash wiring or engine wiring?
That engine stuff is mostly organised and runs down the drivers inner fender once that is fitted. Then it runs above the radiator to the passenger guard.
The dash stuff will probably get a tidy up in the future (once running fine and all that). My last truck I re-did and set up on 2 plugs for the dash - it was tidy and quick to remove.

Decided to start on drive shafts. Bearings were collapsed, and bearing caps are rusted in there. So a tap with the hammer was next:

But smashed a hole in that rusty cap. Maybe I need something more aggressive, lol

For a 50y/o drives haft it looks about normal to me.
This one may have lived poorly in storage at some point though. As the uni bearing caps are rusted in place and the spline does not extend to allow suspension travel. Lol
I have others I may look at using instead I think.

It will end up being great .

Another contractor ( different company/ and expertise)
On base has a long wheel base one ( have no idea what year).
Dark green = a classic old school look!!!

Your's going to look great = fresh.

Cheers mate. This is the last of the series2a (well 1971 was) which is the last of the steel grill, dash is centre mounted, and old style hinges.
Series 3 got flat hinges (except tail door), plastic grill, and plastic dash with gauges in front of driver.
If headlights are mounted by the grill it is 68 or earlier.
And if the sides are flat without the body swage below the window line it is 58 or earlier and worth a lot more $$.

So far this week:
Shaped the steering box mount plate
IMG_20200716_125413.jpg

It just needs painting and some longer bolts for the box.
Also clearance for steering
IMG_20200715_204006.jpg

Removed a fuel hose that was wet, and swollen, and dripping on the ground, and alot NOT like a fuel hose.
And lastly I've mounted the lower window channel for rear side windows. Hopefully get all the glass and other channels in soon so that is mostly finished.
