Diablo Red Manual Vs Clubsport

Name: Phill
Model: VS HSV Clubsport Build # 701
Colour: Diablo Red
Odo Reading: Was 88,900 k's when purchased, now 91,000.
Bodykit: Standard
Engine Type: 5Ltr 185i
Engine Mods: Lukey Performance air filter, Standard HSV cai.
Exhaust: Standard Clubsport headers into twin 2.5" with rear hotdog/resonator and twin 3" tips.
Gearbox: T5 5 Speed Manual
Diff: Standard Clubsport
Brakes: Standard
Suspension: Standard (really high :|)
Wheels/Tyres: Original tri spokes.
Interior: Standard Clubsport
Other Mods: None.
Stereo: Standard with broken tape deck :(
Future Mods: Respray bonnet (as it has been resprayed before and paint didnt take to the metal),
Respray front bar to remove those nasty scrape marks
Fix up slight sideswipe on rear left hand quarter panel
Slightly lower (and hopefully firmer) suspension. Thinking SL's all around to keep the lovely forward rake.
Depending on funds.. possibly a blower.

I've owned this car for going on 3 months now. Bought it from a 'collector' that was planning on just keeping it in storage to keep the k's down. When i purchased it, she was totally stock except for some crappy blue numberplate LEDs. Don't want to change much on her, i still have the original exhaust sitting out in the shed just in case. Really a pleasure to drive, the exhaust has a nice growl to it that I'll post up later.

So far i have: Replaced the water pump
Fitted the exhaust described above
Bought two new rear tires
Got my hands on another set of tri spokes with center caps
Fixed the stereo and the electric aerial
Gave it a minor service, still yet to book it into holdens for the 90,000k service.

Cheers for reading.

Added the exhaust video. But i don't think it does it justice. Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated! :)

Recent purchases include:
Vortec v2 S trim blower kit (capa brand) secondhand.
Alloy burnout radiator with attached twin thermos in a sheet metal enclosure.
King springs (secondhand) Ultralow rears and superlow fronts.

I hope to have the kit up and running within two months - i still have a few items to buy. Fuel pump, injectors and 2bar map sensor.

Finished installing the radiator today, its a tight fit and will hopefully be worth it. I just need to buy a fuse for the fans and they'll be operational.

Installed the rear springs no worries, having a bit of trouble getting the 2nd nut off the top of the front struts as it doesnt want to budge.. any ideas?

Cheers!

Haha, will look even more familiar though when i put the springs in - they are the same as yours it seems. Except the rears are in, and im yet to have the front off engine stands.. i hope they compress one hell of a lot because it doesn't seem to have dropped at all :p.

We'll see i guess - and cheers for the help so far :D
