hey folks, does anyone hav e a diagram of the rear bumper and its mounts on a vt ? cant seem to get the bugger off and dont wan t to force it and snap any mounts.. the car is a 1997 vt berlina cheers peoples.
What you will find is 1. there will be a series of plastic plugs across the back where the boot lid meets the bumper 5 in total. 2. 3 screws down each side of the wheel arch and 1 or 2 underneath depends if the car has mudflaps. 3. under the rear across the back there will be 2 plastic plugs. 4. on each side from inside the boot pull the carpet that is behind the rear lights and there will be 2 10mm headed nuts that you undo.. Then the whole lot should just come of with a bit of a wiggle.. See pic sorry my paintshop skills are not tip top but you get the idea..
