Dialing in VT dizzy

Trying to set tdc on VT sequential dizzy. dizzy is only used as signal for ls2 coil packs running wasted spark. It doesnt use the rotor button and that part of the shaft has been machined down to fit blank cap.
Timing marks on crank are set to 0 tdc (on compression stroke)
Does the square mark on the dizzy wheel represent tdc, because with a stock vt dizzy the rotor points 180 from the square mark. cant afford backfires as its lpg.

No it doesn't.
There will be a small notch on the rim of the distributor.
As I cant see it in your photo, I'd say it's approximately in the 1 o'clock position of your picture.
