Diff Bumper

Hi I was wondering if anybody can help me ? I have to install new rubbers the one that go above to diff on the body. It's a vs commodore series 1 NON IRS They are a bugger to get in is there an easy way to install them ?

You mean those chunks of rubber that sorta plug into the body?

I replaced those the other day. What I did was spray a bit of WD40 on one side of the bit that plugs in, and just stuff it in with a screw driver wrapped in rag or taped up so it doesn't cut the rubber.

It took me a few goes, but after pushing it in good they stayed.

Possibly another way would be to get a rubber mallet, and hammer it in, but you wouldn't be able to get enough swing since the brakes are kinda in the way.
