im looking into getting these changes when i put the SV6 in for a VCM tune.

So 3.7s would do well?

P.S. where would i look into buying a set, and would i be able to get them put in by whom ever does my tune?

anyone know about this? not sure if i was ignored, or if no one knows?

p.s. thanks for the stock ratio though.

this be a 5-speed. That change anything, or you still think 3.46?

A quick Alloytec
TOP choice of workshop, Hi Torque both tuned my car and later fitted my diff gears.

tune is around the $900 mark, diff gears to fit & tune only, cos i supplied, was $495.(over a yr ago)

you would have to ring and chat to Kent about current prices

i believe the next step for you would be 3.7, ss's had 3.46 from factory

ss autos had 3.08 from factory vt-vz. For hwy km's i'd go 3.46= 2050rpm/100kmh with a good improvement in driveability while having good economy on the hwy still. 3.46 are readily available too as they were factory fit for vt2-vy2 ss manuals as many have upgraded to 3.9 or 4.11 cause 6th gear is so tall. vz ss manual sedans (ls1) has 3.73 standard while the utes had 3.46. 06 6l vz's all had 3.46 (manual).
Cheers

did the diff ratio change for vz? i thought the ratios were v6: 3.08 (auto and manual) v8: 3.08 (auto) 3.46 (manual) (( these obviously being standard and not taking into account special order))
