i just went to put some mags off a commodore second hand at bob jane yesterday and they missed drivers side guard by about 3mm and left was touching inside edge, ive got a diff from a VR installed,are VR diffs wider than VN VP diffs?

You need an adjustable pan hard rod man. Your panhard rod is out of whack which is why one side is closer to the guards than the others...

VR-VS diffs are wider by 10mm per side than VN-VP diffs!
