diff oil for my irs ???need help

    i have a non lsd diff im putting in my vs i know castrol is the correct diff oil is ment too be in it but the auto pro in roxby dont stock it is valvoline ok to use???

    As long as it's the same "weight" then any of the larger brand name manufacturers will be fine.

    as in weight do you mean castrol is 80/140 is the right oil as long as its the same as that it should be ok?

    I think Castrol LSX90 is the common pick ? check your workshop manual or owners handbook ... or even one of those lube selector websites like valvoline or castrol both have.
    From memory the oil should be GL5 ? and suitble for hypoid gears for a VS diff. Don't quote me, i just memorised what was on the old bottle lol.
