just thought I'd share my project so far, I'm doing a disk brake conversion as well as an LSD conversion for my rear end. i Purchased this diff out of a Vlt wreck for $250, got it that cheap because i had to take the wreck home and pull it out. To my surprise it was a 4.11 geared diff. i dont know much about diff gears but i hear 4.11 is what you want for acceleration. it didn't come with any brake lines backing plates or rotors. but i purchased these parts cheaply locally. the next thing on the check list was give everything a nice lick of paint. now the only things left to do before i put it in next weekend is buy some pads, source the full handbrake assembly and cable.

Well seeing as 99% of my driving doesn't involve leaving newcastle I'm more then happy for the 4.11. But it's going to suck the fuel when I go on the high way ( oh well ).
