I now have 3.73 in my Crewman ute 5.7 , best decision since owning it , lower revs , amazingly smooth gear changes AND fuel economy of 32 mpg or 14 kms to the liter. Is there a ratio available of 3.8 to fit the Crewman or will I have to go to 3.9 , I find the 3.73 is just slightly slow off the mark owing to the larger size of the Crewman . If anyone should have a diff to suit Crewman with a ratio of 3.8 I would really like to hear from you . Garry

Any Ratio can be used,[specified for Holden for that Series]
And it all depends on the size of the tires you are running,
Based on that, you will just need to alter PPK to suit the Ratio & Tire combination.

3.9 is the next one up from 3.73 mate, you could get a hi stall converter for getting you off the mark quicker and general better acceleration down low

The common ratio's are 3.07, 3.46, 3.73, 3.9, 4.11

The difference between 3.73 and 3.91 is about 100rpm at 100km/h.
