    Hey mate

Best way to know if have a look under the car where the diff is and on the diff near the fill plug i think it is there will be a sticker which stats the diff ratio

Pretty sure its 3.08 most are also Non LSD on the V6's

for a manual vy it will be 3.46 even if its not an lsd... pretty common ones are 3.9 and 4.11 i believe
from what i've read 3.70 is a nice compromise between acceleration and highway effeciency but they arent a common gear

depends where you get them and what state they are in really... you could get a brand new set from a diff place or a second hand set out of a wreckers

If your going with 3.73's or 3.9's go with genuine gears only. They wont whine if installed correctly by a reputable diff builder, the cheaper gears have a tendency to whine regardless.

IMHO the difference between RPM @ 100km/h with 3.7s or 3.9s is pretty minimal, so go the 3.9's, you'll love it.

Both gear sets came standard in VX HSV's (clubby 3.7s and gts 3.9's)
