Diff Ratios VS V8

I have a standard V8, VS Clubsport and wanted to fit a limited slip diff which I don't believe my car has.

I have been told the one out of the later V6 Supercharged model is a 3.08 ratio like mine and will fit straight in. Is this correct and if so a good mod to do? The current diff is starting to whine a little.

Hey mate, if you do have a standard genuine VS Clubsport then you should have LSD, IRS and 3.08 diff. The actual diff is probably on its way out hence the single spinning so you can probably get it reconditioned or whatever works out better.

Thanks Angelo, do you know if the diff for the V6 supercharged model is the same. There is one for sale locally that came out of a car with 27,000km on it hence my interest to fit it.
