I recently purchased another VP Calais, when turning the rear wheels shudder and half-catch, the tyres are crap, worn on the inside, okay on the outside.

Just curious as to if it is the diff, could it have a mini spool? Locked diff in some way?

Appreciated as always.

EDIT: I should note that the tyres do not screetch when turning, they shudder, this could be because the tyres are eaten?

yeah its spooled lol, you wouldnt be interested in a swap?
i got 3.7's and a spool but want to go back to 3.08's.

had new carrier bearings put in when i got the gears installed.

swap + cash my way ( complete housing swap)? pm me

Sorry mate, if anything I'll just take it out soonish, just brought the car and it's pretty dangerous.

ive had no issues with mine even in the wet and its been in for ages

Yeah I will have to leave it in for a bit longer, yeah I don't mind it but it's chewed my tyres and even when driving sensibly I lose traction in the wet.
