As the title states. I wasn't 100% sure myself.

I know the brakes are better. Interior, kit and cosmetically.

But what about the guts? Does it have a better tune or what?

Cheers..

HSV GTO. 408ci Stroker, LS3 top end.
Tune, body kit, suspension, minor interior bits (better seats), climate control as they are based on the berlina not the exec.

Brakes are 330mm front/315mm rears on the HSV, Engines are exactly the same but HSV gets a twin 2.25" exhaust and extractors. They also got a better MAF pipe on the R8 (some models).

For the $$ the SV8 is the pick and gets better times at the track with very minor mods

Yep... that's why you have the lamest excuse for a HSV is it?

Whoopee... 10kw from a chip and an extra 100kg of bodykit... what a rocket.

HSV's from VTII onwards didnt use chips. Its all factory programmed in the PCM. Good thing LS1edit came along and made SS's faster than any stock HSV.
