Difference between s1 and s2 cluster

was looking at another cluster today and was told that the vx has a similar issue to the vy with s1 and s2 clusters in regards to the fuel gauge....


Does anyone know if this is true?

so far from what i have experienced is that with the s2 the fuel sender/resistor reads backwards, so when ur tank is full is reads empty. I had mine re-calibrated @ Holden but with no change. Re-fund was given and they suggested i drop the tank and change the resistor around or put the original cluster back in. Hope this helps
