VN V6, nothing special
vn-vp run 8.5:1 and the vr runs a compression ratio of 9:1
also apparently the vr came out with the supercharged rods from the states...

delcowizard pretty much explained it all :) (i think)

Old thread I know but I see VR have higher comp. can anyone tell me the difference in the heads that makes the VR higher comp? I have a couple of what I think are VP heads and I want to have them tricked up to suit VR plus maybe a tad more comp above stock VR.

Vp and vr are same comp the pistons were closer to deck height than vn that has them quite far down the bore at tdc

Excellent, I will have no issue then using the heads off my spare engine on my DD. I'd like to have some reshaping done and it will be better if I don't have to wait to have the heads recoed and ported.
