Difference in off the shelf cat back exhaust

Hi, I'm looking for a cat back for my vx ss, but there is so many to choose! All I know is that I'm after twin 2 1/2 cat back,

It depends on how much u want to spend and if you want droan or not, you got ur cheap ones like xforce ect then ur expensive ones like kpm and di fillipo which usually have better sound and pretty much no droan

Can't go past Pacemaker IMO.

I'd avoid anything with an X-pipe is sound is important to you. I can link to a vid of mine if need be.

yeh mate that would be good! what difference does an x pipe make? does it just change sound or perfomance?

i really like my x force twin 2.5 and it has a x in it got it for dirt cheap but the best sounding catback ive had by far

The Xforce xpipe is just a restriction. IMO it sounds revolting, like a thrashy V6.
If you want a cheap system, get one of them and cut the X pipe out, replace it with just straight pipe. You'll pick up some bottom end torque. It only cost about $60 to do it.

Now, this one trumps them all.
