VE ssv z series Redline
Gday legends
I bought this 2012 VE SSV Z-series Redline recently and noticed the SSV badges have a red outline BUT I can’t find another car the same model with these badges.
It only has 54k Kms on it and is factory everything so I’m doubting someone has changed them.
I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on it.
Cheers.

Certainly not standard. Would find the previous owner wanted to add a personal touch

No, they aren’t standard. You can buy them like that on eBay mate. Standard boot badging should be like the pics below and the sides are the same colour but hard to tell in the pic but (grey with the chrome outline).
Enjoy the car mate!!!

Nothing like the badges on my SSV Z.

Definitely a custom job.

Before you do that.....have a bit of a scratch at the red bits in case they have been plasti dipped and you can just peel it off.

definitely not plasti dipped. It’s a shame coz I like the red but I want the car as factory as possible

I already changed my wheel centres from black backing to red, which is nice. dunno if those badges are too much. I have seen them on other cars and think they look alright.

Also did the scuff sill plates from the basic ones to ones that say Redline. Like I said though, is there a point where it's overdone.
