I have a VX Berlina Series 1, is it possible to change the cruise and wiper arms to series 2 arms? If so is it costly? Is it the sort of job that can be done at home?

The arms are round instead of square and the cruise control is alot easier to use

These are a straight swap, you will need a philips head screwdriver & the new stalks.
takes 5 minutes

VS Acclaim Series II
Difference for those of you that ask.....The Series 1 has the push button cruise stalk in which you push for Cruise On...then push again for Cruise active and to increase speed
series 2 you have the push button on the end of the stalk then turn the end of it forward....and i assume turn it forwards again and let go to increase speed.

Why would you bother?? I have a series 1 VX and reckon that the control arm on these are the better of the two. The series II VX and VY at work I find require more movement of your hands off the steering wheel.

I suppose at the end of the day you'd get used to it, but I say why bother.....

Heaps better

I changed mine on my series 2 VT Berlina over to a VY cruise arm, very easy and heaps better than the big square one that was on there. :drink:
