2012 SV6 VE
Hey Lads.
Just gotta engine on a 2012 Sv6 ve that ISNT the original engine and they briefly told me it was VF (hoping you guys help confirm this).
LFX125010051
Just wanted some help identifying this engine (model, what car it comes off, is it safe and suitable to be on this ve). Just so I can get my oils, and other stuff correct.
My next step is to locate a local engine swapper and get help from them.
Cheers

If a VF engine was fitted they would have used the sump from your ve to fit it as they are different due to oil sensor

Alright. Cheers guys. So changing the oil, coolant, transmission, steering fluid etc. is still the same as the original engine and the engine swap has no effect on those? Also are the fluids still the same as the one in the VE maintenance book??
cheers
