different width wheels and flat bottom steering wheels?

Trust me, I've been defected for a sports steering wheel twice mate. As soon as they walk up to your car its the first thing they notice when they look in. Twice I was stopped and that was the first thing they said "Do you know your steering wheel is illegal?"....The one in this pic here:

Also if you really dont believe it, go in and ask at AutoBarn yourself. They will tell you that they are in fact illegal.
