Hi can someone please tell me if you can weld or put a mini spool into a vt commodore differential by just taking off the backing plate and not having to remove the differential from the car. This is for a speedway car. Thank you

You can only get at it with a welder with the back cover off. You'd need to remove the diff to put a spool in there.
