Hi all,

I have an intermittent issue with my VF. Every so often I’ll get the message saying to check left position lamp when it isn’t blown or anything, and then my speedo will read incorrectly. See images attached below with cruise control set at 60 and me at 0 but the needle sits below. It then fixes itself when the car is turned off and it does it’s little needle drop, back to 0, then the dash fully turns off. Starting to get sick of it happening

Any suggestions? Disconnect the battery? Seems like something might be wrong with the cluster itself. Warranty job?

Thanks

if you have warranty yes put it in.

it could be the battery on its way out but if not i would be concerned with the issue happening after the check position lamp because that message is sent to the cluster over the can so the wiring for that lamp might be rubbing/shorting then causing canbus issues.

Could be a wiring issue, also check the bulb socket for any corrosion.
