I don't get it, You have camber & stretched rybber and like to call yourself "STANCED" However, Your fitment is horrendous. Look at the wheel gap between tyre & guard. ####, I'm not even "STANCED" and have better fitment than that!
More low. Apart from that, i actually don't mind it. Turned out ALOT better then i thought it would. Just dont over do it.
So does it handle better or worse than stock? I'm thinking it handles like a wet blanket with these new "mods"
It would probably out handle just about any other Commodore on the road. The suspension choices in this car are pretty sensible and thought through (except for maybe the spacers). He didn't buy cheap china gear. Well thought out offsets and wheel widths without being overly aggressive. Going for the lower centre of gravity. Adjustable coilovers instead of spring/shock. The Cusco gear is pretty damn reputable, far better than the Monroe and King Springs combination that Commy drivers seem to love so much. Good wheel offset and fitment can maximize the track, but it's benefit is lost when you have to dial in too much camber, but this looks like a pretty sensible amount. I would far rather basic handling mods over power mods. Would probably have handled like ass if he had gone with the demon camber though. Still, even though handling was probably not a priority to begin with, I see very few Commodore drivers going to any effort to set their cars up to handle well or even attempt to learn about suspension geometry. King/Makita springs with no knowledge of spring rates and blown shocks, sunken 20" lame chromies. I see far more "riced up" commodores than ricer Japanese cars these days. What spring rates are you running BTW Dijm?
Even though I agree with you, that wasn't the point I was trying to make. The same could be said for every high power car on the road.
I didn't ask if it handled better than a commodore R_J_K, I asked if it handled better then before it had the stupid camber and stretched tyres that look like arse put on it. It was a rhetorical question because the answer is no.
