Has anybody had experience with using one of the many ding/dent pullers that are the market.
I have a dent on the rear drivers side door just above the crease line. It’s approximately 35mm long X 10mm high, as shown in pics.

There is a thread about these, the results were inconclusive..... I have one or two tiny dings I'd like to try it on but not sure I want to be the guinea pig to test one out and then pay a PDR bloke anyway. If my local PDR was a little less expensive I'd go straight to him. But he is the only local I know doing it, so he charges what he wants.

I had a look for that thread. I was thinking of getting one of those tools and then maybe practice on an old panel or someone else’s car:)
If nobody comes up with a good recommendation I’ll probably just leave it.

I bought one last year, like you, waiting for someone to give me their car to be the guinea pig :) .

Practice makes permanent. A mate of mine got a kit and practiced on 160 hail dings, he's quite a gun now. I would say based on his results they do work. Eventually. That's a tricky spot

Have you considered a mob like dent king or similar?
Yes I have friend who owns a Red Line Sportswagon and it cost her four or five hundred to have a similar ding fixed. I believe I’m too tight to go down that track, one reason being I can’t really afford it, but the main reason being why bother when some fcukwit will ding my car again!:(

Dayum. I must've aged a lot since I last saw a quote, that's a lot of bucks
I know. Although I can’t remember exactly how much it was, (I’ll find out for sure) I’m pretty certain is was up there.
