Disable Low Beam Flash

G'day boys!
Posted this in an earlier thread but didn't get any replies, not sure if its a stupid question or noone saw it, but i digest;
Is it possible to prevent low beams lighting up when you pull the stalk back? The reason im asking is because im running projectors and HID's, the quick flash can damage the ballasts and lets face it, noone can see the low beams when it counts anyway. Any help appreciated fella's!

If you push the stalk forward you should get only high beam, that is what happens with most of the projector style lamps.

Should have mentioned im using a set of aftermarket projector lenses,
