hi guys me again,
just a quick question, my mate was telling me his uncle had a 355 stroker for a vp 5L built and he raised his comp to 10:1 but the pistons he had were dish tops, how does that work, not sure how much they dished in but thats got me stumped wouldn't it hav lowered the comp?

Yeah I can't see how you would get 10.0:1 with a dishtoped piston, normally you would use a flattop.

Umm yeah acl have a 15.4cc dish at 9.5 comp at 85 cc using standard rods so i think 10.1 is possible with a dish especially if you go chev rods (obviously not with those pistons) and or zero deck height and shaved heads .

Maybe the impossible is quite possible when you know what your doing...
