The accessory 12v socket in front of auto gearshift is not powered up ,the only fuse that appears to relate is the cigarette 15 amp which is ok ,a cig. Lighter is not installed. I need to access the back of the accessory socket to check connection to the fuse board under steering wheel. How to dismantle the console is my question
To get the trim off from around the gear stick, there is 2 screw's, 1 either side of the cig lighter. Undo them, then it will just lift out,(toward the back of the car) If you have power window's you have to lift the trim up enough to unclip the power window swich. Also, 2 more screws holding in the pocket unde the stereo, undo them and pull the pocket out. Thats all you have to take off to access the 12V socket. I suk at explaining things! But yeh just undo them 2 screw's, folowed by lift up trim and unclip power window swich, Then unplug the loom off the swich.
