hi, ive nearly finished my crs kit but i need help.
basicly im upto adding a bov (waiting 4 it to come back from being welded)
then ive got to add the pully and belt.

is it nececary to relocate the pcv to the inlet of the blower?

how have other people added there pcv hose to their blower intake?
is there an adapter i can use to mount the hose to the inlet blower pipe?

    thanks heaps

wen my bov comes back i will get a belt and mount the extra tension pully
and be finished. but i need to work out how to attach the pcv first.

i belive it is nessacery to run the pcv into some where either the intake or a catch can, they usually use those on turbo setups.just run a hose where you want it to go.
if you leave it the way it is you will pressurise the crank case and sump ect and it is possible to blow out seals but you will more likely have alot of oil leaks

    Get in the ute
drill a hole in the intake pipe

get a threaded hose plug thing attachment

put thread through pipe, do up nut on the other side (with some kinda seal in between)... presto!

yeah thats exactly what i need but where can i find one?
    cheers

has anyone else ever experienced a intake restriction?
only sometimes i get to about 4000rpm in gear at wot and it goes down from 0psi (turned off) to -15 psi, where it should be at 0psi And virtually stops reving just sitting on 4500rpm.

is this definetly a intake restriction or could it be an exhaust restriction
    or worse a motor problem?

sounds like the intake has a blockage
go rite over your intake pipes and inside and have a look
ill bet its that f****** pod filter colapsing and blocking up your intake, take it off and take it for a drive or just rev it up and watch your pod

you can get those fittings from bunnings

it wouldn't suprize me if it was the pod.
it only does it sometimes and i havent heard of any major power
losses due to the sc14 clutch not on.
might have to go fit the original top of the cai and the k&n panel again to test.

    cheers for the reply,
    hope the filter fixes this.

i pulled off the pod and went for a spin,
still no go, it wouldnt go past 4500rpm.
pulled of the sc14 inlet manifold and it was alot better,
but still not perfect because the blower was restricting it slightly,
but it still went to 5500rpm.
the reason was because the blower inlet was touching the hood,
and was choking/squashing the silicon pipe coming off the top of the charger.
